Happens at our place too. I guess it's quite common these days. Click a dodgy link and you're directed for retraining.

I found out on Friday that one of the local cinemas does ex-pat nights once a month, with English subtitles.

I also found out the film I want to watch (De slag om de Schelde) was shown on Thursday. Bugger.

I just got caught clicking on an link in an email my company sent me. They regually send our fake phishing attempts to catch people out.

The email was about intermittent internet outages next week and to click for dates and times. Ironically my IT is so st that not being to keep the internet up for a week seemed legitimate. hehe
Wait, what? Your company is trying to 'catch people out'? How are things in Pyongyang , by the way?
Ours did that a while ago. It was pretty obvious though.

I thought that said 'Scheide' and it would be translated as German into 'the punch in the vagina'
( Ok it's the battle of the Schelde I think)

More anger than annoyance: https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2016/aug/19/cy...

Especially when plod are handing out escooter fines and penalties which are harsher.

Personally I think anyone causing an injury like this via lack of due care should be required to pay a victim surcharge for life, via an additional tax code.

There are often some pretty stupid comments on here, but no one has shown the kind of thinking that equates losing a leg with £625!

Didn’t even lose his licence ffs!

Quite. Plenty of more recent examples too but its the ridiculously lenient sentencing in general that grinds the gears.

Does this not also happen with car to car crashes?

When you get a bit of hair stuck to a bar of soap. You can't pick it off, because you end up with gouges in the soap and lumps of it under your fingernails. So you wash it off under the tap.

Only it doesn't wash off, it just sneaks round the other side of the bloody soap, and hides there until you put the soap back in the dish at which point it blows you a raspberry, and you have to go through the same thing again; to no avail. Again.

It annoys the hell out of me that there are not far more lifetime bans handed out, some people have shown clearly that they are not suitable for controlling a vehicle, why should that be a right they need to get back?

I was more surprised that people are still using soap.
