"I hope Byker comes back, Bom, he might get the hump if he thinks he's been diddled out of that outfit. Besides, I like him, it reminds me of watching Byker Grove on the telly years ago"

"Oh, I'm certain he'll be back. If not, I know where to find him. He'll be in The President & Election on Gasworks road"

Today mostly consists of dropping the TVR off for MOT and service, then introducing Asha to our daughter in laws sister, who's going to stay in our house with her whilst we export more of our house to our son's flat in Antwerp at the end of the month.

Morning most, evening Paua.

That's a lively Snoopy and Woodstock to start a Saturday. Caffeine is slowly infusing.

Pretty much - maintain & build relationships with people who may be part of future govt. Applies equally to current govt. pollies.

Over th last 12-15 years, we've had 3 National admins & 2 Labour. Admins come & go - broadly speaking, th less than competent burocraps remain. Parl term here = 3 yrs

Regarding th cannibal aspect - hangi ( earth-oven) involves burying masses of fire preheated rocks ,including baskets of covered food to steam for some hours under a covering of earth. Apparently, th quick check for th readiness of your foe - bury him so that his head is just clear of th ground, when his eyes turn opaque, th meal is ready.

Don't know if th Aussies make a decent Chianti, but they make many a (V) good shiraz.

Happy Saturday to one and all and both of you as well
It's not too cold and it's not raining, I may venture out of the bat cave today for some exhorcise.
I do understand that if I don't keep up with the payments to my exhorcist, I may get repossessed.

Did you know that if all the butterflies in the world were laid end-to-end, we would be inundated with caterpillars?
True dat!

It's something to think about as we go about our day, innit?
.
And with that, it's back to the studio. wavey

I have been told that the "fire-heated rocks in a pit in the ground" method is also the Aboriginal way of cooking a Galaa ( large Aussie species of parrot ).

"When the rocks turn soft, the Galaa is ready to eat." biggrin
