Which aftershave do you use?

If you listen to what random internet people say you'll never do anything. I've literally never smelled (smelt?) Aventus on anyone who wasn't me, but then I don't spend most of my time on the tube in The City.
So he shouldn't listen to you either, presumably? What with you being a random internet person and all For clarity, I'm not saying don't wear Aventus, and I'm not stopping wearing it myself. I'm just saying that I think it's pretty ubiquitous now.
West coast of Scotland here. I smell it all the time when I'm out and about - even in the gym!

Yeah but when theres only 10 guys in your village and they're all related to you in one way or another, does that count? For clarity, I'm not saying don't wear Aventus, and in not stopping wearing it myself. I'm just saying that I think it's pretty ubiquitous now.

It's the internet innit. Just like how "everyone" wears a limited edition submariner and drives a Porsche GT. In this bubble, sure. In reality, not so much
Anyone smelt any House of Oud stuff? The Harrods ad keeps popping up with it and the bottle looks ace haha. Very few reviews kicking about but I'm curious.

ell, that’s depressing. After taking a break from it for a year or so I was about to go back. The advantage of it used to be that it both smelled nice, and was expensive enough that you didn’t smell like everyone else...
The problem is there are many cheaper alternatives which smell either exactly the same; or as close as for a fraction of the price, to name a few-Club De Nuit Intense
Mont Blanc Explorer
Zara Vibrant Leather
Atelier Cologne Musc Imperial
TBF i cant say ive really ever smelt a lingering presence of Aventus at any of the bars ive frequented in Central London (probably as like most, its longevity seems piss poor), but then it seems that it can only be smelt within someone 'personal space', maybe you need to stop smelling guys within their personal space Jimi?

That's lovely stuff - if you want to offload it I'll buy it from you!
Kind of you to offer, but it’s probably half used and I do like it - just don’t wear it too much these days. I do have a virtually unused bottle of Tobacco Vanille, albeit a couple of years old now. Had high hopes for it, but I can really only smell the tobacco and I’m not a fan as a result. No idea if the bottle would survive a trip through the mail, so I’m not overly keen on posting it out. That said, if anyone wants it and will take the risk, drop me a PM and we can work something out.
Got bored of all the creeds so decided to go for something completely different and unusual

Strange guy's personal space is the best.As for longevity, real Creed Aventus has some of the highest projection & longevity of any aftershave, in my experience.

The annoying thing for me is that I can't smell it on myself after 30 mins - 1 hour. I still get the odd comment so I assume it's still there, but I'm missing out! No idea why this is the case, but it's been a consistent experience for me over 2-3 different bottles... Generally give it a couple of sprays on my chest, which might be my mistake!DanL said:

When she arrived back, she picked up the cat, paused then sniffed, and said "the cat smells manly as f*ck!"
Yep, the cat was wearing my Aventus
