Not really a local Facebook "group" as such but the local pages are posting a news article about a boy who has his bike stolen and how a local bike shop has given him a new one!

I've commented on it, they keep pushing the news story, surely the people that stole the last one will be waiting for him again now.

I'd guess at "used screen washers near a person".

I read it as driving through puddles splashing people.

We've had a new round of "suspicious red van" apparently they have the reg!
Place I used to live went insane when a suspicious van was spotted, as well as a couple of men spray painting 'suspicious markings' on the pavement.

They even set up night patrols where absolute weapons would do laps of the village throughout the night.

The fact the van was sign written with UNITED UTILITES and the 'suspicious men' were wearing United Utilities hi-viz jackets didn't seem to have any effect on their behaviour. Nor did the fact that everyone in the area received a letter a couple of weeks previously stating there'd be work taking place.

Once the work started to take place and temporary traffic lights went up they soon moved on to complain about that instead.
It appears that a significant amount of people out there are basically just mentalists.
100%. It makes you also realise that many countrydwellers are horrible little racists. Received a similar call about suspicious men a while back and they had a full roadwork setup, marked van, the lot. They just happened to be asian. I felt really embarrassed pulling up to them on blues and the informant was...educated by us!

yes but these a holes who keep saying "proper job" as they think it identifies them as Cornish is just right annoying. There's a tosser at work here in Scotland does just that. He just needs a slap.

sadly. By and large the UK population is a race to the bottom. Nowt to be proud of everything to be scared of. Recently I was waiting for my return flicht to Scotland from Gran Canaria. Looking around the departure gate I was saddened to see a representative group of people who make up the population of Scotland.

God save the queen.
