Do they though? I know that American trucks do but I can't say that I associate British trucks with that.

Rostfritt - not so, apart from tipper trucks and American Big Rigs. If you look, you'll find most trucks have an exhaust exiting by the fuel tanks down on the drivers side

I've almost certainly mentioned this before, so apologies in advance...

My mum always refers to searing meat in a pan as part of a recipe as "browning the meat". Always results in a snigger for me, especially as she literally has no idea of the alternate meaning.
