We have blue skies, I repeat, we have blue skies, over.
Whether it's going to stay that way remains to be seen!!
Yesterday at wemakeplanebits.com I actually managed to get something done, not by myself, no, I had help, but I'm taking it as a win!!!

Dermot O'logical, I meant to ask, saw you say 16,000 steps reached, that's about 7+miles!!! Where do you walk to clock up that sort of distance?
It is approximately seven miles - we have several easy walks here in Trivton-sur-Mer, most of which don't go anywhere near the sewage treatment plant. My usual walks are 5,500 and 6,500 steps, one in the morning and one in the afternoon, plus (as yesterday) a car wash (which the step counter counts, even though it's arm movements, and not actually steps), and it soon adds up. It's all exercise. If I'm feeling adventurous, there's the New Forest within very easy reach.

Being retired helps, obviously.

Gud moaning, everybody! Another day of stepping and procrastinating beckons, I can even do both at the same time, which counts as multitasking I believe. Not much else on the agenda, it's a quiet week, which is nice.

Laters.

A tad damp at first, but after a brief shower, I'm all fresh and lovely again. bowtie

I noticed some odd patches of blue appearing.

Could be varicose veins...

I don't count my steps every day
I don't count my steps any day.

I have better things to do with my mind.
And anyway, I'd lose track after about 75 or so, and have to start again.

Besides, there are only three steps to heaven...

If you're willing to take that shortcut. yikes

Having a young dog helps, I regularly do around 10-11k steps a day, 15-18k on the weekends (which for me are fri-sun). It roughly works out 1 step=1m so 12k steps are around 7.5 miles. Most recently was 18k or 11 miles walking the coastal path.

Morneve chaps, counting steps is it? I wouldnae 'ave th foggiest idea.
On those days I do my day job ( not many in total per year, to be fair), I kick my metre long fins some unknown multiple of 1000's/ day. Th weekend just gone, I burned 3 tanks o' 2-stroke, cutting 3.5 cubic metres of eucalypt & had to quarter th rings to be able to lift them onto my trailer. "ow many steps? - absolutely as few as fcken possible smile, I lost 3 kg for th day, despite drinking 2 litres of water & pissing '86 Chernobyl yellow.
Shower followed by another l of h2o & a well earned beer.

Magoo, I expect those oak roof beams that need replaced, will burn good'n'hot - probably really old & dry.
Hour & a half til Wednesday, sleepytime.

A J reg Interceptor went past me on the M40 doing at least a ton. It was sitting nicely on the road, as my old dad would have said.

London or Oxford bound? I saw one Oxford bound a couple of months ago when coming back from the TVR specialist

We were at a local reclamation yard last friday. Those oak beams aren't light!

GREAT SCOTT MARTY BOBBERS!!! yikes

Has it got a functioning 15 Gigawatt Flux Capacitor???
Can it actually attain 88mph on the level?
Has it been back to the future?
Is it still stuck on Vol 38?

IOTN, Not much has been achieved in the way of fencing. owing to high winds and trenchul Rayon.
But I have managed to sort out my holiday insurance.
My sister will be pleased that I have actually done so.
I think she was worried about how to dispose of my mortal remains should I shuffle off this mortal coil due to all the excitement and Raki.

One of the qualifying questions was "Do you intend to play golf during the period of insurance?"
I didn't know that golf was so hazardous as to require a special mention before cover would be granted.
They didn't mention tandem paragliding from a 6000ft mountain summit though... wink

scratchchin Still, I suppose more old gimmers kick the bucket whilst spoiling a good walk than they do plummeting to earth from altitude. hehe

The funny thing is the guy who owns it is a really unassuming type, he just doesn't look like, or sound like, the sort of guy who'd own it!!!

Pyr Fox?

It's certainly an interesting name. Sort of up there with Brer Fox and Brer Rabbit, I think.

If that's a fox, it's full of mange, judging by that there foto image, Bobbers. Can you alert the RSPCA to come, check and rescue?

Ahem, good evemorm all! wavey

I have been busy with the boyo's on grass cutting duty at PH, so haven't caught up with the latest on the tank manoeuvre situation at TT. Do we have a Terminator or not?

Shocking news about Battert and the downstairs maid...

IOTN: managed to last until 0630hrs this morn, before needing a pee, which is nice, however, I have now rigged a pump-out system utilising an empty barrel for the anticipated urine evacuation requirements, and no mistake... needs must!

Evening old boy. I have to say I'm quite concerned having read this, have you discussed the matter with Dr Gleadle?

For heaven's sake be careful rigging stuff like that up, you'll do yourself a bloody mischief.
