Things that annoy you beyond reason...(Vol 5)
Discussion
I'm not a pet person, but people who just abandon their pets piss me off, just like in this video.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this most difficult time
That's one of the most annoying things in the FB group for my local news thing - an article appears about an incident of some kind where someone dies, and the majority of the comments are from what I presume to be complete strangers saying "thoughts are with the families" and the like. Why can't hotels let me use the same bar of soap 2 days running? I'd only used it to wash my hands 2 or 3 times, left on the side of the sink, and when I got back last night it's gone and there's a brand new one it's cardboard packaging!
Low paid cleaning staff keep the slightly used ones - some places they can actually sell them to supplement their wagesDELETED: Comment made by a member who's account has been deleted.
It boils my piss it does. Latest Chrome build is meant to (mostly) stop that but also if you have Chrome then https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/autoplay...

"Official tyre of the Games" and other similar messages, quoting products that have absolutely nothing to do with the sporting event. I saw that message at a football match recently, and thought WTF does that do to make anyone think "oh I must buy those tyres next time".
Why can't they just say "we are one of the sponsors of these games" rather than offer such a ludicrous suggestion. Ditto "official yoghurt" or "official burger" - yep, burgers are really sporty and make you a better player.
It’s all about the money. Why can't they just say "we are one of the sponsors of these games" rather than offer such a ludicrous suggestion. Ditto "official yoghurt" or "official burger" - yep, burgers are really sporty and make you a better player.
There will be a few “official Sponsors” who pay the most eg the ones with the book end ads in a champions League games
Then there will be “sponsors” and “official [object] of the UEFA champions league”
I may have the order wrong but one will be a tiering system, more money buys one of fewer slots and more exposure.

Granted. Although I still agree with the OP that if the sport doesn't use the [object] in any capacity whatsoever (eg. the aforementioned tractors) then it does look rather odd to see it described as the official [object] of that sport. Having said that, the sponsor must see value in being mentioned thus, otherwise they wouldn't have paid for it.
