My team - Sheffield Wednesday are currently embroiled in a relegation fight. After the results last night, one journalist exclaimed that it was "tight down there in the bottom".

I was sat next to my friend of that name last night. He is a school teacher.
There was a teacher at my sister’s school called Mr Glasscock. Absolutely honestly true. Lovely guy, his life must’ve been hell.

I used to work with a Christina Mycock (Tina to everyone who knew her). When she joined our company, the IT folks set her email address up: cmycock@xxxxx.co.uk.

I also used to work in a company with Mr Woodcock and Mr Hardwick, both in IT.

In a previous life as a planning officer I had a planning application from Mr & Mrs Shaw-Twilley. I find double barrelled surnames pompous but if I were Mr Shaw or Mr Twilley and I was marrying Miss Twilley or Miss Shaw I think I would have chosen a different order.

He was (possibly still is) the headmaster of a school in the Isle of Man - https://www.get-information-schools.service.gov.uk...

Someone I worked with called his baby son "Benjamin Jake", known to everyone as "Little Job". Bet he's having a rough childhood now.
