Morning Happy Easter, are we allowed to say that even? Ah maybe Happy Holidays.

Sad pictures there Magoo but all too familiar nowadays. It’s difficult not to get emotional at times like this, especially for all your friends.

Bright Sunny day this morning. The night sky was spectacular last night. We made the mistake of watching tv in bed until 13:30 then had a shock when we looked at the time on the phones and thought we should stop and go to sleep.

Gonna get up after I’ve finished my cuppa and do some more painting. Off to the outlaws this afternoon for Sunday lamb special.

Good morrow fellow Trivialities everywherewavey
Happy Easter one and all!!
A leisurely day today, a spot of book keeping, and that's about it until we have our friends round at 1800 hrs for a meal and a few drinks.
Oh, other than me trying to figure out what I've done wrong with my sat nav update in Ivor, I don't understand some of the instructions from the supplier, something about having to download a program to create a partition on my USB stick.

Trivton Bugle Latest
Well known subject of Photoshop Thread caught blue-handed committing a major hold-up!.

Local Police duty Spokesperson Constable Haywain is reported to have said:
"Not now! Can't you see I'm busy?"

Meanwhile, on the Village Green, celebrations are under way for Ol' Pequod's Birthday, and no mistake.
The Trivton Ferrers Country Dance Display Team are mustering outside the WI Hall if anyone can be bothered to drag themselves along to witness the extraordinary antics of these lunatics.
Licensed Bar and hot coss bun stall have been organised, also White elephant & Bric-a-Brac, Splat the Rat, Bowling for the Pig, Wheel of Fortune, Tombola, Lucky Dip, Palm Readings, and "The Ducking Stool Experience" are just some of the exciting things in which to participate.
N.B. After last year's unfortunate incident, "The Iron Maiden" will not be a part of the amazing attractions.

He finds taking oil paintings of crime scenes very laborious.

Easter Greetings

How many of youse forgot to put the clocks forward?
Yes, Happy Birthday Pequod Old Chap! thumbup

I didn't forget about the clocks, I just couldn't be bothered.
Except for the kitchen clock, which governs ALL time-related activities in the glenrobbo household. The procedure involves climbing precariously atop a wobbly kitchen stool, maintaining equilibrium whilst withdrawing said timepiece from its' nail, twiddling the knob (Ooh-err Missus!) at the back and carefully re-hanging and vertically aligning the clockface to as near the perpendicular as possible, whilst still balancing vertiginiously atop the stool, finally ending the procedure with the dismount, returning once more to Terror Firmer, safe in the knowledge that all is well until next October.
Or until the batteries go flat. eek
The rest of the clocks and timepieces and digital time displays on various appliances I shall reset on a random ad-hoc opportunity basis, except for my Citizen Ecodrive wristwatch, which is far too complicated to even try to suss out how to reset it, so I just leave it set to BST.
Hello, good buddy, great to have you back for some wrist action once again!
I do have other watches up my sleeve:

"Psst! Hey Bobbers! Wanna buy a watch?"
I have a super well-known much-sought-after but almost impossible to obtain number which is suddenly an hour behind, but otherwise in exceptional condition. biggrin

At the Towers we are celebrating putting the Pequod Calendar forward a year by eating chocolate and drinking alcohol. I hope this meets with your approval. I didn't check regs and protocols etc, we just got stuck in.

Many Happy Returns, pequod old boy party

I'd ask Battert to produce some sort of cake, but the last few attempts have proved less than successful.

Apart from providing the chaps from the fire brigade ample overtime opportunities, of course.

I'll mention it to Mrs Brassington, see what she's up to today.

Happy Burpday Pequod.

Today marks the day the the clock in the TVR reads right again, I don't bother changing it as the adjuster is slightly damaged..

Today we've done car boot, I've taken garden rubbish to the tip, now a little rest and off for a late roast lunch, followed by maybe watching this afternoons football.

A scene of devastation along the street!

The ground floor is set up for floods and is only a store and utility area but heavy rain normally brings no more that a few inches in these houses. Around 1.2 metres this time.
Now I have to estimate for the clear up. The house is in mid sale at the moment!

Is it the afternoon already? How did that happen?

Oh well, Merry Easter everybody, and a Merry Birthday to Ol' Pequod! I wish you many more kears to KBO, and no mistake!

I was actually awake bright and surly again, and i've managed 13,000 steps including a car wash so far (my "Activity Tracker is worn on my right wrist, so car washing is translated into "steps"). It's a form of exercise, so why not? You're making up your own jokes now, aren't you? Stop it!

I might not have finished yet, I'm trying to work up the enthusiasm to give it (the car) another coat of GTechniq C2v3 before I move it back into its usual parking position. The weather for the forthcoming week looks a bit "variable" at best, so it won't do any harm. Shouldn't take too long.

This evening will be spent with my sister and brother-in-law, and as we live a short stagger from each other, much wine will be consumed, so I might have a lie-in tomorrow.

Would you mind keeping the noise down tomorrow morning? Thanks awfully.
