I was actually awake bright and surly again, and i've managed 13,000 steps including a car wash so far (my "Activity Tracker is worn on my right wrist, so car washing is translated into "steps"). It's a form of exercise, so why not? You're making up your own jokes now, aren't you? Stop it!

IOTN, as there is currently a bit of a lull in the proceedings, I have just emailed my gas & electricity meter readings to my Easter Egg energy supplier, because I don't trust them.
Not one tiny miniscule iota! nono

And for the 1,000,000th time, NO, I DO NOT WANT A SMART METER! furious

Have gnice day, y'all. smile

Good show, that'll learn 'em for trying to confuse the issue.

We had a bit of roast lamb over at Potter Heigham. The Falgate Inn, as it goes.

Roast turkey crown, roast potatoes and parsnips, broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, green beans, stuffing balls and pigs in blankets here, although not just yet, at about 1830hrs.

I had a kip this afternoon, and have a decent sized whisky and ginger on the go.

Wore Asha out on the beach. Retired to the local pub for slow roast shoulder of lamb, roast potatoes, carrots, parsnips, creamed leeks with seaweed etc. Yum.
Man City v the Arse was boring, had a couple of pints now watching the passion of Christ

Just got back from the in laws where roast lamb, roast tatties, carrots, peas, sweetcorn, cauliflower cheese, thick gravy and mint sauce were consumed. Followed by chocolate blamanche and orange jelly.

We then played one of those frustrating escape rooms in a box, themed to Lord of the Rings.

I’m volunteering at the museum tomorrow. I expect it to be busy.

The Memsahib lovingly prepared slow roast lamb and a garlic mushroom starter, for which I made fresh baguettes.
Bread is exclusively the responsibility of ole 404 hereabouts
Later there was a key lime pie with sorbet.
Well done Memsahib!
We had friends over, two retired senior nurses in their 80s who had us in fits of laughter with old skool nursing anecdotes and salacious jokes. I was duty driver for picking them up and returning them to base, so I had soda water and lime juice. They had my own champagne cocktail.
When I got back I sorted out all the dishes, pots, pans and ironmongery and cleaned up the kitchen and now I'm having a nice sit down with a glass of Tempranillo which is going down a treat.
I mended my cockup with the blanket chest I'm making this morning.

It's been a good day chez 404.

Goodnight All and best wishes to All too.

(Would you like to hear the joke about the three elderly sisters?)

What a cracking Snoopy and CB there Bomma to welcome in another bank holiday.

It’s raining lots this morning, still I’ve got the biggest umbrella in the world to stand under today. I suspect this weather will keep the punters away. Shame as we can do with the money for the old Beverley.

Good day to you all.

Morning all, just heading out to see what this mornings walk brings. then we have to decamp to see the grandkids do an Easter egg hunt. My eldest son is organising for all the kids so with their separation it'll be good to go and support him.

Also, no details but it all kicked off again yesterday with my daughter, no money to pay the bills, nothing from he who must be shamed, then he stole her car to go to 'work' after she thought she's hidden the key, leaving them stuck and unable to do what they'd planned. Apparently she's thrown him out again, but we'll see. It's been so many times...

Corsa is at another garage, still not fixed as they've got no money.

Good morrow fellow Trivialities everywherewavey
A moderate night's sleep has been had.
It appears to be a nice day out there today, I'm hoping to get a bike ride in at some point, but first I have to try and update the satnav in Ivor, I've finally managed to get the satnav to recognise the USB and ask for a code which I have, but it apparently can take up to 2hrs to do the update!!!
We're also going to see my dad this afternoon, we've got him some pyjamas at the request of the nurses on his ward.

Byker, I feel sorry for you having to sit by and watch all this st with your daughter and her other half.
