The increase in:

"We noticed you are using an ad blocker.
Did you know that this website relies on advertising to give you the best content for free every day? Please disable your ad blocker to continue reading"

I understand this and appreciate people need to generate revenue, however the adblocker in question currently shows it's hiding 16 adverts on this single page. If it was a couple I'd gladly add an exception, however in this case I'll just go elsewhere.

On some local news sites it's 40+ ads being blocked to the point where if you allow them you can't actually read the content anyway.

Concrete?

I find this hard to believe, but if it happened EXACTLY as you've described, then what an utter .

It was about 1045 today on a fairly straight part of the B1115. Nothing coming toward us, so no obvious reason for him to swerve to the nearside.

Did you get the helpful diagram of how to exactly do the 5 star positive feedback?

People who think that a lack of single or double yellow lines on a rural road means "crack on - you're good to park here, even if it causes an obstruction".

To separate it from all the other operations at that particular area. Otherwise you may get a community copper doing a drugs bust, with just a whistle and notebook.

I've just had to complete another online form. - This one was for British Gas, but all companies seem to do it now...

Once you have typed in what you want to say, the form then extends and insists that you put a load of personal information before being able to press the 'Submit' button.

I've got enough sense to include my contact details in my original question - I find it extremely rude that they think I do not have that much sense.
Those that don't have the sense do not deserve an answer.

Sorry this is a bit meandering but just had another bloody idiot to deal with

People who dont read the question and then give you a totally useless answer based on what they think you should think

EG i am thinking about getting/doing/going......... any pointers?

Most of them tell you THEY wouldnt get/go/do. or query your sanity of even thinking about it. and generally being quite abusive and personal

The top one for me was when i asked about a geneological question, being new to the game

It was

I have hit a brick wall. Traced my line back to gggggFox. There is another Fox line that shows there could well be a connection what is the best way to check.

I have
gggggFox B1792 second marriage 1826 following his first wife dying ( shows widowed on married details)they had had two sons. ( this is the line i am on)

However 2nd Fox B1817 same name worked as a gas works manager and gggggfox worked in same gasworks ( there are several other links that could be something but at first sight dont ( if you understand that!) Lived in same area that sort of thing

Records around this time are sparse but
.
i think ggggfox married around 1812-5 had 2nd fox .then mrs gggggfox died gggggfox then remarried in 1826. That is all i needed to give them

So i asked about that, 'How do i find a link between the two.' Simple you might think?

I got about 20 replies telling me who the descendents are of each Fox and in some cases going off onto other trees that had nothing at all to do with what i asked.
When i politely said. Yes i know all that ( how else did i get back to ggggfox?) 90% of them get really shirty and complained that if i knew already what they had spent hours finding out for me. Why did i ask?

At that point i lost it and told them to RTFQ

Apologies but it has been a rather tiring day in the Ancestry area on the web. This last one just put me over the edge!!! Hopefully tomorrow will be better
