Requested the stag in the local, they had testers in lieu of stocking it. Sorry lads, it tastes like Jim Beam for bhes.

So I drank it anyway.

Evening all

been dropped in the st by my neighbours, one of them told the neighbour on the other side of us that told my wife that I had already bought a new TVR.
It isnt actually true, I havent actually given the guy any money yet but I do want to buy it. My plan was to put the mk2 on ebay then tell her about the car I wanted to buy so that it removed her main objective to my buying it which is there being 3 cars on the drive as the tvr can go in the garage then.

Build a new garage, hide the wife underneath the concrete base, dot tell anyone anything other than she's gone to visit a sick relative down under.

But car, thank me later.

New approach thumbup

Buy it, put a BMW badge on it, tell her it's economical and cheap to run.

Thank me later.

Just back from the pub.

Had a kebab on the way home.

There's a mosquito in my bedroom.

Also, a woman and some teddy bears.

i can provide anecdotal evidence from friends that would support the stereotype.

in fact, I can't think of any owners of PSA vehicles have had a happy experience.

(your Dad doesn't count because I've never met him and deep down he wishes he had bought something better, even if his example was a Tuesday morning car)
May I ask what models your friends have, and what are the problems that have arisen?

You always encourage me to actually drive a car before making a sweeping statement so have YOU actually done what you preach and driven the van in question...or are you just basing your opinion on whatever experience suits your ore-conceived ideas?

Regarding Dad wanting a different van, he is actually quite pleased with the whole package; He drove the Caddy but found the equipment levels too low for his requirements and we also test drove the new Doblo and he felt the seating position was too high.

We opted for the Berlingo because it handles quite well for a van, will do 200+ miles per day with comfort and the list of options were far superior to any of the competition. The dealership is also local and happy to assist.

As always, I will be happy to hear your thoughts once you have driven one. smile
