Nothing ostentatious, something along the lines of: Mrs Brassington, widow of this Parish, rediscovered the wild and wicked ways of her youth here in the summer of 2016 aided, observed and encouraged by a troupe of Boy Scouts, the Scout Leader and that sleazy bloke from the bank.
The old German Shepherd caught a squirrel earlier. The bugger had been annoying her for a couple of days, kept running along the top of the fence. I'm assuming it was the same one of course, unless there's a group of them taking it in turns.
Which reminds me, I'll need to check on that bloody fence this weekend. Unless something more pressing turns up.

My uncle has been doing some of that ancestry stuff about our family, and it turns out that I am the fifth-cousin once removed of famous actor Tom Hanks

Well I wouldn`t want to go knowing that! Frankly the whole day was an unmitigated cockup, what with V6 & the gantry, the Churchwarden getting bitten by my collie, all those people getting rounded up into the river & upsetting the angling club match. I think Mrs Brassington would rather forget all about it too.
In all honesty, a finest hour it was not.

I haven't been to Central Park since April, there's a bit of an ocean in the way to get to it, but next time I am there, I will make that known to anyone I see getting married!
