Is there a blue plaque yet?

Nothing ostentatious, something along the lines of: Mrs Brassington, widow of this Parish, rediscovered the wild and wicked ways of her youth here in the summer of 2016 aided, observed and encouraged by a troupe of Boy Scouts, the Scout Leader and that sleazy bloke from the bank.

The old German Shepherd caught a squirrel earlier. The bugger had been annoying her for a couple of days, kept running along the top of the fence. I'm assuming it was the same one of course, unless there's a group of them taking it in turns.

Which reminds me, I'll need to check on that bloody fence this weekend. Unless something more pressing turns up.

Today's trivia from me...

My uncle has been doing some of that ancestry stuff about our family, and it turns out that I am the fifth-cousin once removed of famous actor Tom Hanks

Which sounds cool, though I realise that there must be quite a few people who can say that, I have 12 cousins on that side of the family who can all say it, plus a load of second cousins who are all in that side too.

Apparently further up the line is Abraham Lincoln on my mum's grandmother's grandfather's side.
This is excellent news. Are you aware you now have the unalienable right to photo bomb weddings in Central Park?

A plaque would be nice Dicky, might even attract a few discerning tourists...

Should be call an Extraordinary Meeting?

Some TT meetings are a riot and some are ill-attended disasters. I have been to several of the former but tend to organise the latter.

Suggestions for when and where gratefully ignored.

To be fair Jim, there was only about a dozen people affected, only minor injuries...

Well I wouldn`t want to go knowing that!

Frankly the whole day was an unmitigated cockup, what with V6 & the gantry, the Churchwarden getting bitten by my collie, all those people getting rounded up into the river & upsetting the angling club match. I think Mrs Brassington would rather forget all about it too.

In all honesty, a finest hour it was not.

Funny you mentioning the gantry Jim. It's nearing completion of repairs so will shortly be wheeled out for final armour plating and chroming ready for the next mission.

Did think it was a bit quiet on that front recently.

I was assuming work had ground to a halt due to Penrose having the welding gear to make his Nunchucks!

Up early to take the lab report to the lab. Which smiley are we using on the tabs this time?

I'm done for ''kangaroo pouch' videos for now though.

I do? Excellent!

I haven't been to Central Park since April, there's a bit of an ocean in the way to get to it, but next time I am there, I will make that known to anyone I see getting married!
