The tube of water glide or whatever might have given the game away but I guess it's Germany so you never know how far folk will take a fetish - as in sticking actual ordnance into their hole....! Or maybe who found it thought, due to the tube of water glide, they'd stumbled upon some unused equipment from the Dambusters campaign?

This reminds me of a documentary I saw years ago about some German rock band who lived in a commune with a whole heap of hangers-on performing various domestic duties. One such person was a lady who was the commune cook. I think she was a bit too plain to attract any of the band members attention so she resorted to satisfaction provided by a fellow commune member, administered by way of a rubber like device shaped like a those small bombs used in aerial bombardment in World War 2. The main body (or barrel) being about the size of a fist with a slender tail/shaft extending back about four inches with four guiding flights arranged radially at the end. Said documentary provided footage of the ladys' leisure activity, albeit with the camera angle set so that this documentary didn't stray into any restricted viewing category....
