That's the east of Oxford one - so many good pics, I've seen from Swindon, Basingstoke, Wycombe...
So, western areas favoured during the afternoon, then the SE should get a turn overnight and in to tomorrow.
Thing is Pug, having lurked about (I even joined yesterday) the Netweather forums, nothing is certain. So, western areas favoured during the afternoon, then the SE should get a turn overnight and in to tomorrow.
I like the look of the Netweather graphic I posted above, on that there is a chance that we are in for it!
Here's the NW piece on the SE:

Also later in the evening a cluster of storms or MCS is modelled crossing from France into S England, as a more marked shortwave trough moving up from SW Europe today.destabilises the plume as it moves NE and creates forced ascent and cooling aloft. These thunderstorms likely accompanied by frequent lightning, torrential rain leading to flash-flooding, hail and gusty winds.
Of course, storms tend to fail while crossing the Channel - but there's added assistance today with a trough (like a valley of low pressure, instead of a dartboard) crossing too. Puggit said:

Fingers crossed for a lucky roll of the weather dice.netweather said:

Storm east of Oxford is exceptional from afar. Trying to get a photo that's worthy...
Apparently in Garsington just east of Oxford, torrential rain, big hail with thunder and lightening. Missed me by about 5 miles The storms in the midlands last night blew up out of nowhere in 15 minutes over South Shropshire - I was sat out in the garden about to resign to the fact we weren’t facing any significant storms for the night and everything just electrified before my eyes with strobe effect lightning in every direction. It certainly wasn’t something that was visibly approaching from the distance.

We had an absolute stonking storm in North Shropshire from about 10pm. Almost continuous thunder and once we looked out the window, sheet after sheet of lightning. It peaked about 10.45 to 11.15pm right over our village, with massive claps of thunder (proper "angry god" stuff), with each clap quickly followed by a massive lighting flash. Mains power dropped out/in 4 or 5 times. Somebody got a visit from the nice people at Shropshire Fire & Rescue as a lighting strike set fire to the roof on their house. No broadband in the village today as something obviously got spiked.
