My money has been on Feb for any snow for awhile. If Feb passes by with no snow for the south then I'm giving up for another year.

We've had snow, hail, sun... repeat every ten minutes. At the moment it's snow.

Wind was horrendous last night. We had a power cut which set the alarm off in my garage, so at 01.30 I'm dicking about in the torrential rain in the pitch dark. Whilst I was at it I found one of our wheelie bins had made a bid for freedom. Didn't think any more about it until just now when I've found a massive dint in the front wing of my wife's car.

I could be a bit grumpy today.

It was like spring here in North Hampshire today. It was beautiful sunshine and nice and warm once you were out of the breeze.

I'm sick of winter now; bring on summer woohoo

Well, there's a good chance that Ygritte will be walking gingerly by the end of Tuesday.

About a foot so far with some excellent drifting. Though not by me, not entirely sure where the road is.

Not heard much go past on the main road, for that matter.

How about the 'Jim has shoveled a foot of snow off a 4 car drive, is sodding feeling it and knows he'll have to repeat the effort in about 4 hours' thread.

Don't people in the US have flamethrowers and napalm grenades for that sort of thing?

I'm a cheapskate.

Also it's not that huge a space, so for the 2 or 3 times a year when the snow is more than 8" or so, it's not really justifiable (though I've noted some cheaper electric snow blowers that appeal somewhat).

Anything below that is just a few minutes good exercise.
