Sort of thing one might find on any rural buy&sell but the "used once" bit did cause a snigger smile

I've got a set of pliers like that for putting rubber sleeves over electrical soldered joints etc. I call them virgins' pliers! Perhaps I could set up a little sideline...

Hugely non-PC but they were called virgin stretchers when I was an apprentice ('70s). See also silicone oil for lubrication.

Indeed so, good ol' RS Components (or Radiospares as it was in the '70s).

I love a good Facebook Marketplace sale ad. My friend and I used to tag each other and comment. I can’t recall if I shared any. A classic was ‘A box of Legs’ (Typo for Lego). We both went out on a limb that time.

An elderly gent had posted this. I’m not sure if he’s having a laugh or had accidentally uploaded the photo. I’m tired and it’s probably not that amusing but it’s made me snigger.

When with BA I had to explain the miracles of flight on many occasions. Not sure that it was accepted by most.

"It's a known fact that past a mile high there is not enough air to breathe" rolleyes

Someone better tell the people who live in Colorado, the Alps, Himalayas, Andes, parts of Kenya, Ethiopia etc that they should move down hill!

Whilst still chuckling at the first I read the response and guffawed ... thankfully I wasn't on a teams meeting at the time smile
