Just ridiculous levels of fkwittery on my NextDoor -
"A car has been parked outside my house for 2 days, could be innocent or could be stolen"
Here are its full details, registration, Tax/MOT check etc.
Others asking for it to be reposted on other sites, could be abandoned etc.
2 days, posted on a Sunday evening. You know, when people visit family etc?
Utter madness.

Then there was the car that had been there for days, front corner damage with blood on bumper and up the windscreen.
The car was encroaching a metre onto a self made driveway with original full kerb intact throughout.
There was no damage nor any blood.
People don't understand and get angry either that a unknown car parked on their drive is NOT a police matter.
You can park your car on any public road legally taxed and insured for as long as you want. To some people though its not allowed as you clearly don't live on that street (said person has knocked everywhere). So, they'll keep calling 999.

These people need charging with wasting Police time. Some one could be needing 999 for a genuine emergency, and time is lost because some plum is ringing in about a parked car. Then there was the car that had been there for days, front corner damage with blood on bumper and up the windscreen.

One of the local wimmin gobs really annoys me on Facebook
Always quick to blame every one else for everything being messed up broken etc
She parks her cars in the grass churning it all up
Horse boxes on grass, general mess around her address, but too thick to see it herself
One on ours (Karen hair, black BMW with illegal tints) had a rant about someone parking outside her house, in "her" place and blocking her path. She has actually put up signs saying "If you don't live here, don't park here!". The van was completely legal so actually could park there and her path was actually some slabs she had put down over the grass verge (without permission) to get to her car to save her walking an extra 10yds. Also, there was no dropped kerb, so no restrictions. Of course it`s the nasty inconsiderate van driver at fault. More likely is he saw her signs and parked there for a laugh Always quick to blame every one else for everything being messed up broken etc

"It could be abandoned"
"Its probably stolen"
"Have you checked the Tax?"
No, someone has parked their car. That's it. Like every other one of the 30m odd cars in this country do, everyday. It just happens to be outside your house so you think you have a right to post all of its details up on the internet and cite it could be stolen whereas the actual probability of it actually being nicked is such a miniscule % chance that any normal human wouldn't even think it, but hey, lets not let logic get in the way of your ego.
Handwringing simpletons, all of them.
ETA - I left my car in the pub car park for 3 days the other week, surprised it wasn't destroyed in a controlled explosion given this lot.

Surely all PH'ers have at least a 9 foot tall real tree?
Yes a small one like that in the guest hallway. It's just have to do until the people of Norway deliver the main one
We let the nearby peasants fight over the remains

Most houses keep their cars on the drives, but if you have a family with teenagers etc they can spread about a little bit, however you can tell they are not being toasters about it
Mums neighbour is bored out of her brain, the second a unusual car appears and goes down to the end of the street to turn around, she will be out there with a wheelie bin in the road pretending to sweep leaves just to keep her spot free
She has enough space for 4-6 cars on her drive, dropped kerb which is 3 cars wide, but she has now started to take her car off the drive as well to stop random folk parking there
Really sad that she is that bored

You might want to grill them about their intentions. Have a chat next time they pop up.Most houses keep their cars on the drives, but if you have a family with teenagers etc they can spread about a little bit, however you can tell they are not being toasters about it
