I played the 9 holes I was going to this morning but I aggravated the tendinitis in my left arm on the 4 hole so struggled round to the finish. I did manage to equal my best score but am suffering for it now….

We discovered this morning that we have a huge problem with a process involving heat treatment, once some of our products have been stress relieved they are shrinking by around 0.012"!!!
Which leaves nothing to machine off to manufacture the actual parts.
Oh dear, Bobbers!
Who'd have thought that stress relieving could be so very stressful??? confused

Further to yesterday's acquisition, I actually went to Wickes and bought a garden rake.

Fibre glass handle with a stainless steel business end, it is. £13.50.

I did say I thought folk wouldn't be very interested...

Anyhow, I'm now doing a bit of raking in the garden.

Very pleasant out here it is too. One of Futtette's friends is visiting, so they've popped over to Norwich for a shopping trip.

It's all go.

Talking of rakes I now own Five (5) different sorts!
One day I’m getting rid of em all!

We just had 2x RAF Embraer Phenoms fly over at 1,000 feet making a very pleasant jet whistle as the went by and going like the clappers. They are built in Melbourne, Florida.

More trivia for you.

Well thank you, old boy. There was a fair bit of dead grass in the lawn and it's make short work of that, so good progress so far thumbup

*the dad of the family camping nearby to us on the coast north of Barcelona in 1966, who introduced us to it, called in Shangri-la. I'm kind of stuck with calling it Shangri-la. Getting on for sixty (60) years.

Arrived home and mowed the lawn, took nearly an hour, had to do two (2) cuts on the bugger!!

Ran out of time so haven't strimmed the edges, will do that over the weekend.

Currently cooking our pork meatball tray bake for dinner.

Mrs B and Asha back, been to the beach, sat in the garden with a wine and book, then lamb kebabs, salad, potatoes salad, tomatoes and spring onion salad for tea. Yum
