Gude Moaneve Trivialite supporters of this, the Day of Thor
It's a brice night and sunny day here oop norf and my elbows have revealed a distinct lack of wood in their proximity, which means I have a rather full itinerarerary of scheduled procrastination to tackle.
Sorry to hear about your slow puncture, Hammo.
I thought you were just losing weight.
Good luck to Mrs H for her pre-knee op, has she got a date for the actual operation proper?
To put her knees at ease, you could sing her the Kenny Everett & Dave Cash song:

"What do you fancy, then?"
"The steak and ale pie here is nice."
I don't how we get out of there unscathed some times.

Now I'm wondering which choon on the radio was one of D O'L's favourites?
Was it "Roll Out the Barrel' to the tune of 'My Old Man's a Dustman', sung by Sarah Millington?
We can only hypothesise, speculate or cogitate...
To save any unnecessary hypothecation, the choon in question was "Money For Nothing" by The Dire Straits, a popular beat combo some forty (40!) years ago. I have long been an admirer of Mr Knopfler's style of playing the guitar. Was it "Roll Out the Barrel' to the tune of 'My Old Man's a Dustman', sung by Sarah Millington?

Sitrep: The weather has relented enough for approximately 10,000 of the steps to be taken, and that will probably be enough for today.
It's grim dahn sarf!

It's all turned a bit drizzly now here oop norf, but despite this, I have heroically managed to put out our bins, and those of my lovely next door neighbour, out ready for tomorrow's dawn operations by three successive low-level sweeps by skilled teams of binmen.
The green ( food & garden waste ) and blue ( paper & cardboard ) bibs were a doddle, but the brown bins ( bottles and cans ) didn't 'arf take some shifting, ah can tell thee!
Not much spare headspace in them buggers!
My hair is now a bit damp, but I guess I'm lucky to have any. :smugmode:

Rain has set in here now as well. This morning we managed the tip run, popped to Screwfix for contact adhesive and other jobs, including scrubbing the front of the house and filling some gaps with quick set morter.
Fixed the outdoor sofa cover, reinforcing the corners with some pond liner and the glue.

Uh - oh!
Tell us all about it Bobbers.
Did it happen anywhere near Buttocks Heath?
Happened Tuesday glenrobbo on the way home, some idiot tried to push in in front of me, I accelerated round him, he didn't like it, undertook me and carved across in front of me, stopped his car blocking two lanes, got out and hurled abuse at me about nearly causing an accident because I didn't let him in, I remained calm, refused to get out, told him to grow up, get in his car and fk off or I'd call the police.Tell us all about it Bobbers.
Did it happen anywhere near Buttocks Heath?
He did eventually get in his car, but not until he'd called me several names, and threatened me, all I did tonight was try to upload the video to the online police dashcam portal, but as he'd threatened me and blocked the road, it was escalated and I was asked to submit a statement.
Oh dear, it's sad how little courtesy and consideration there is on he roads today.
Everybody is in such a self-important insulated bubble and think all others should defer to them because their journey gives them priority over all other road users.
And they're always in a rush to be the first to arrive at the scene of the accident.
But it all makes for entertaining 'Caught on Dashcam' TV programmes...
