So I had a moan in the jokes thread about someone posting the same joke within 14 hours of someone else.
Its not just the once is it, you do it all the time, like a self appointed repost monitor of the joke thread, even going back to quote the originally posted joke, its sad and annoying, who cares really![confused](/inc/images/confused.gif)

One of my mates had his wedding at the church on his farm. He came out to grumble about how a few of the cars were parked on the lane up to it, I told him that they were moved there to let an ambulance get to the church for someone who had collapsed. Miserable ![](/inc/images/censored.gif)
F1 Racing does a where are they now type thing every month. Usually for drivers from the 70's.
As highly competitive and motivated people of above average intelligence they all tend to be doing well, even if there claim to fame was a career best 9th place finish.
They often crop up in property development or agriculture - as has been mentioned of JS.

Back in the mid 90's my G/F used to baby sit for Neil Webb (Forest/Man UTD/England footballer). I accompanied her a couple of times whilst on holiday during my first year at university. I recall having a conversation with Neil about what I was going to do when I graduated and what he was going to do when he stopped playing professional football.
I guess Neil was one of the last of the breed of premier footballers who didn't benefit (personally) from the huge salaries that later became common place.
He was in the Sun Newspaper a few years back, working as a postman and leaving in a bed sit.
Shame, because he was a genuinely nice bloke.
I spoke to Neil shortly after that The Sun published that story. The paper told him they were going to do a story on him, if he agreed to interviewed they would do it in a positive manner, if not then they would put a negative spin on the story. He wanted no part in it, hence the story that was put out. He wasn't living in a bedsit either, it was a three bedroom detached house, or at least it was six months prior to the story coming out when I sold it to him.I guess Neil was one of the last of the breed of premier footballers who didn't benefit (personally) from the huge salaries that later became common place.

Not quite the same, but ex Ferrari F1 world champion Jody Schekter is now a farmer:

His Estate is huge, my grandad worked on one of the farms before he bought. He now lives in Laverstoke house as per picture below. Made his fortune after F1 in America i believe supplying things to the US Army. Bought Laverstoke estate around 10 years ago, started to close rights of way etc that had been open to the locals for centuries and really upset a lot of local people. He didnt suceed when they started to burn his barns down and brand him a Nazi by all accounts. The locals won the battle and he is now very respected in the area and has done a huge amount for the surrounding village of Overton where i was brought up and where my Grandparents live.http://www.laverstokepark.co.uk/about-laverstoke-p...
