Morning. I am fatigued. And really hungry already. Weird. It wouldn't usually kick in for another half an hour.

Morning, Solenoids.

Sleep pattern:

0:00 - 1:00 - Boy wakes and gets fed
1:30 - 3:00 - I sleep until boy wakes, he then gets fed
3:30 - 5:00 - I sleep until boy wakes, he then gets fed
5:30 - He wakes, gets fed, then I take boy downstairs and we sleep together on the sofa for an hour cloud9

Tired Arse.

Roll on 17:00 so I can go home and rest for an hour before more visitors arrive to see boy.

Roll on Saturday.

Oh no, my Mum is coming over on Saturday to see boy.

Roll on Sunday.

A fascinating insight into your weekend deodoring use. Do you use spray in the week?

Glad you're surviving the lack of sleep! It gets better!

(Then worse. Then better. Then worse...)

I'm sure. It's not so bad for me as I can survive on a few hours sleep, and then to be fair I bugger off to work for 8 hours.

He's still a little cracker though.

Little crackers repeatedly give out little gifts*.

*Disclaimer: gifts may become larger and smellier as age increases.

I'm going to go out tomorrow morning for a little 20 miles before work, was going to go this morning but it was raining and I'm not brave enough to go out in the rain yet.

May I ask what models your friends have, and what are the problems that have arisen?

You always encourage me to actually drive a car before making a sweeping statement so have YOU actually done what you preach and driven the van in question...or are you just basing your opinion on whatever experience suits your ore-conceived ideas?

Regarding Dad wanting a different van, he is actually quite pleased with the whole package; He drove the Caddy but found the equipment levels too low for his requirements and we also test drove the new Doblo and he felt the seating position was too high.

We opted for the Berlingo because it handles quite well for a van, will do 200+ miles per day with comfort and the list of options were far superior to any of the competition. The dealership is also local and happy to assist.

As always, I will be happy to hear your thoughts once you have driven one. smile
yes. I spent a year with a Berlingo as a works van. It was terrible.

I found the groundsman's old Bedford rascal van in a hangar and used that instead after 9 months of stroen hell. Now that was a good van. comical handling, doors that fell off, light enough that 4 people could abandon it in a gravel trap, but it had character. It also did wheel-stands when empty if you hit the brakes hard enough.

The berlingo was a dog. French electrics, poor handling, no power, struggled when loaded and went through wheel bearings like i go through big macs.

other PSA models owned by friends

106
208
306
406
407
3008(family, not friends. I wouldn't befriend.someone who had one)
Picasso (I call him "rapist")
c4
relay
c2

and ironically, the most reliable one out of the lot is a mate in somerset who has a xsara activ.

All those cars have had issues, mainly electrical.

PSA cars are st.

Evo, I bought it at Camden market I think, years ago.

PH, yeah, that's me. How old and fat did you think I was? Like, Chunky style?

(Sorry Chunky)
I don't know really... I picture your missus as being about 34 with long blonde hair and child-bearing hips. That seems to be the stereotype most horsey women fit. I pictured you as looking a bit more like a mechanic. You know the sort, massive sausage-fingers, forearms like a gorilla yet having no arse. smile
