Snow in South Lincolnshire.

It hasn't settled at all because it's so wet. Big, wet flakes though.

I hate to mention the obvious, but fk me it's cold out there. The kids suddenly aren't very keen to go to the Halloween fair. hehe

Increasing signs of SSW during November. This would keep the weather pattern going with high pressure over Scandinavia.

I did a long'ish bike (cycle) ride today, Thames Valley.

Going round Dorny Lake a few times was a love hate thing. Tail wind, way-hey, then coming back the other way brutal headwind.

According to the Garmin bike computer which has its own thermometer, it was 2c to 3c for most of the ride dropping 1.5c for the last few miles as it was getting dark. With the windchill, it felt subzero. There were also a few light rain showers and I reckon they were a knats cock away from being snow.

It is certainly cold early this year and this weekend in particular is interesting as it was windy and cloudy. Usually any late October, early November cold spells and frosts are when it is dry, clear and still.

With what we have had so far this year, the late chill then the blazing summer, anything is possible!

Played rugby today. It was 3 degrees, plus wind and rain. Lashing it down.

Pretty sure I died of exposure at least twice.

The last few years, I often think 'how the fk did you steal my Colorado weather'.

I reserve the WTF for the Colorado weather itself, which as I've said before - is fking absurd. It's 24c today and tomorrow...and will be -2c Tuesday evening.

I've seen it drop 40 degrees in 2 hours here - leave the office in bright sunshine, get to the apartment (at the time) in a full on white out of a blizzard...

Bloody chilly this morning. Proper frost! Looks like it'll be the same tomorrow too.

Where abouts are you funky?

I'm in Sleaford and played hockey at Cranwell Saturday and it was snowing/sleating at the start of the game.
Bloody cold as well. Even with gloves on fingers were numb within 5 mins.
Cleared up in the 2nd half though and temperature rose a little.

Hedging bets I see. Well it is the sensible way this early on in the game.

I will try not to get too excited, otherwise it will just be disappointment.
