No... it’s ridiculous that a professional service is waving a pride flag in people’s faces. If a normal person went into their workplace waving flags that explain their sexual preferences they would get people complaining quite quickly.
That tells us all we need to know about your attitude to equality, doesn't it?Down and out said:

That’s weird, why on Earth don’t you want Barclays to change their logo on your phone? What possible negative affect can it have on you?
It is puzzling, isn't it.keirik said:

It is puzzling, isn't it.Barclays proudly showing itself as the face of pride in Britain. Interesting that it’s silent on such matters in a country that they are rapidly expanding into - Uganda - where being gay is punishable (in some instances) by life in prison.
My dislike with the Barclays pride app on my phone is their blatant money-making hypocrisy.

I have no problem with that but I do take issue to putting the flag on my phone or taking it into a professional environment where people should keep their views on sexuality to themself.
What “views on sexuality”? That people should be treated equally? Do you think that’s controversial, like who you voted for or whether you agree with the death penalty or whether you believe in god or something? Pothole said:

You disagree because you think they’re hypocrites. I’ve no idea if it’s correct or not but that seems a reasonable position to take.

Yes, and patronising too. Like those Halifax/Santander/whatever TV ads and the ‘equity release’ ad with some nonce smiling away as he undervalues the elderly couples house to utterly shaft them into signing it away.My dislike with the Barclays pride app on my phone is their blatant money-making hypocrisy.

The pride flag does not explain a sexual preference.
It is Barclay's logo to do with it what they please.
I’ve just seen the app. I don’t like rainbows like that and it’s not part of something I’m to do with, a bit like say a Partick Thistle emblem, so I’ll exert my human right to ignore it.It is Barclay's logo to do with it what they please.
