Well, we've had precisely fk all in the way of snow since the 2nd, which is a little unusual.

We also hit a record high here of 23c on the 18th, which is quite impressive for February.

However, we're due 2"-6" starting early this evening through tomorrow morning, so all is right with the world once again.

Definitely a cooler spell coming - but drier. Snow may well fall as showers, but nothing heavy forecast.

I guess a hard frost means it's time to celebrate.

I don't actually believe what I am seeing, it's actually snowing in my little part of Burnley, the ground was dry and the flakes are big and have real purpose.

The snow shield is broke bounce

I think it was an oversight on the weather's behalf, normal service has resumed weeping

Did the mountain hover up all the snow?

Honestly, have you nothing better to do than post fantastic photos of desolate, stunning scenery?

In the end, we got about an inch of snow which was gone by lunchtime.

Judging from previous years, I expect one more decent snow fall before it starts to properly warm up.

And yes, the weather here is bloody odd.

Been minus C every night this week and again tonight and forecast like that for the next 7 days, most of Feb has been cold up north (and not that far north).
