Buy drone, fly over 3.14ks camp, video bright yellow dumper truck, turn up at police station with soliciter, possibly threaten to take the matter into your own hands.

Probably still pointless though.

On what fking planet is that a CIVIL matter!!!!!
Long story, but my company own the vehicle, our customer is in dispute with one of that family, and one of them has hidden the vehicle. The police say it is a civil matter between us and our customer, rather than take it up with the family.

Our customer won't report it as theft as he fears for his life...
Wow! That seems odd to me, or just laziness /cowardice on the cop's part. Its your car, its been nicked, dont see why its different from a company car being nicked while driven by a sales rep,the owner can report & cops can investigate(or should) and I imagine your insurers wont cough up without a theft report.
But if the hirer wont do it, then I imagine his credit card is getting a hammering for being "on hire" evil

It's headline news on Midlands Today, apparently Andy Cash (the pykie) needs extensive surgery; already pulling the racism card, the 'we're misunderstood, persecuted etc'.
PCC and the IPCC now investigating. No doubt the officers will be disciplined, suspended and it'll be even harder to enter traveller sites. Yep, pykeys above the law, once again.
Utter, utter scum.
His moose of a wife on the BBC website is saying "They let that dog eat my husband like a bone. It was a treat for the dog." It was a treat for us to watch him getting eaten too Luv rofl

You;d be done for flying a drone over someone's home.

Because they only used one dog.

I have actually considered this.

Ridiculous that the Police won't just go in there and ask "did you see anything on the night it was taken"?

Not if flying at the correct height...... But then to be honest they'd probably shoot it down if you were there long enough for them to grab a shotgun.

That's for the CAA to prosecute and they likely wouldn't care.

Just seen an advert from Surrey Council saying they may crush the vans of fly-tippers.

So come on Surrey Council grow some guts and do this to travellers' vans, etc!!

On the one hand that sounds great.

On the other hand, what's the first thing they'll do once they lose their van? Pinch another.

You would not need to fly the drone directly over the site. Just skirt round the outside, looking in.

A good drone will fly well above the range of a shotgun and still produce good clear video/pictures.

There are plenty of laws being broken by this plague. They just need to be enforced!

fking disgusting. Police too afraid of the criminals to protect the public.

30 or 40 caravans and motor homes have now appeared on RFU land in Twickenham adjacent to the Chertsey road.

I wonder if the good citizens will welcome them into the community.

In other words:

"next time, yes, we'll say it's travellers, but we won't do anything more about it. Probably less, actually, once we actually acknowledge it's them."
