Anyone into trainers/sneakers?

I'm in two minds.
As you said, they could be one of the models that ends up on sale for half price in few months. And they are very much summer trainers in my eyes anyway, so I might hold off.
Where would you recommend buying from?
SNS have a shop in London so you could go look at them there! I don't think they will sell out on opening day as they haven't been hyped and the look different! Just had another look there really is very little info about on them!

What are people’s thoughts on the CP Company/Adidas collaboration? I’m not going to post up the jacket as it’s ste and also this is a trainers thread, so here are the ones and twos:
I like Kamanda but I know I'd never wear them. The shape is just too out there for me. Not that fussed on the jacket either; being orange I'd be wary of looking like a traffic cone. What is it about the jacket that displeases you?Levin said:

The watch viewer has an Adidas stamp and a CP stamp - not sure how you’d be able to tell the time through it, thus making it form over function.Does anyone know if selling trainers on online marketplaces actually works? My son has become obsessed with looking cool (teenager) and is desperate for some North Face puffer that costs an absurd amount of money for what is a growing child (£260?!!!)
Obviously everyone else’s mum has dropped £300 on their child’s jacket ( ) and he proudly pointed out to me that his friend was wearing a Canada Goose. Posh kids....
I’m not very well off, so I suggested he tries to pay for himself (they dont get pocket money, but have a small (less than 3 figures) sum in a bank account) but he has come to me with the idea of selling off all his old pairs of shoes. (Air max 95’s and some Stan smiths and a cheap pair of Jordans he got for christmas a year or so back from the Nike sale).
Does anyone know if this is actually a viable way of earning money? I’ve come down to the point that it’s his decision, but suggested he does other things like odd jobs or double chores.
With my youngest daughter gearing up to try and get a posho private school scholarships in central London (there’s no way I can stump up £7500 a term) I can only imagine there’s more to come ..... sorry for the first world problem and very off topic moan.

I don’t mind the CP jacket tbh... only me?
I like it, but I rarely go to matches, live in an area where only chavs wear cp or stone island and haven't grown up aware of footy culture. Guess I'd feel a fool/ fraud wearing it. Does that make sense? Might go for a spezial item of clothing from the range this year.

I’ll see what Spezial stuff comes, might get a tee or something, but got the jacket last time...

Stuff about selling
It is possible, but need new unworn trainers that are rare. Not easy to just do. Lots of research and knowledge needed, but also personally I feel it’s a bit wrong... I don’t sell/resell, though could make a bit of money if I wanted, just not the done thing for meEdited by roystinho on Thursday 1st February 11:48

It failed for me!Woke up to an email saying that I hadn’t been picked. Fortunately I found a stockist (The Hip Store, if anyone has used them before) that delayed their release until 8am this morning, so I managed to bag a pair.
All the other retailers have sold out of most sizes now, although Adidas are only releasing on the 14th Feb, so there’s still a chance for those who haven’t managed to get any.
