Not worth a Nom ?
I read that as 'Net worth of a Nom.'

A symptom of too much internetery I suspect.

The head of comedy at the BBC described June Whitfield as the North Star of British comedy.

What a nice thing to say.

I'm so bad at recognising film stars ,I couldn't work out who plays mutant #1 in X-men last stand.

It be Famke Janssen ,she of Xenia Onatopp from Goldeneye.
She's not Russian.

I feel violated.

Why eould she, Dicky?
She has no reason to.
Enough of the Old English.

When she cropped up as a Russian Bond Girl I was misled into thinking she, the actress, is Russian. Mind you, Mars Bars come from Slough so there are no guarantees.

It was her scene as the nurse with Tony Hancock as the Blood Donor that first made me realise she was something special. Just the right degree of exasperated with him. Spot on.

The beer was bought by me, the glass was provided by my mum. Square glasses for maximum irritation.

One may resort to drinking out of the bottle.

The Esses often catch out the best of contenders
The Porsche Curves? The local equivalent are the SUV Esses where locals in small cars have to drive into the shrubbery to avoid humongous 4x4 vehicles driven by visitors who require at least a metre and a half between them and whatever they're passing.

The towel, that is. I don't remember the car having a name other than 'Datbat'. I think most Datsuns were known as Datbats at the time, they did seem to be quite popular.
Dat cars made the Austin 7 under licence. DAT were the anglicised initials of the company founders. When they made their own car they called it Son of Dat or Datsun.

True

(As far as I can remember.)

Best tyres on the rear on front and rear wheel drive. Replace all four on all wheel drive.

The fronts can look after themselves because you have some control over them avec le steering wheel. You don't want - particularly on front wheel drive cars - to have the rears simply as passengers. Give 'em some grip.

I did some research into this after putting the best tyres on the back of Mrs C's 205GTI. She lost it on a bend, spun into the opposing kerb and bent the radius arm. I think you'll find I'm right. It's a percentage thing. Eventually one of my theories will turn out to be correct.

Eurgh. I just took a swig of beer and it was the wrong glass. It was water! If ever we need to destabilise a nation or anything that would be a very cost effective method. I may need therapy. Or a beer or something.

Sorry, what were we saying?
