Hopefully not, that would have been embarrassing.

I sat next to Eddie Izzard on a business class flight to Chicago once. We were in facing seats, and i offered him a Werthers Original when we took off. After that we chatted for a good two hours before I politely mentioned I needed some kip as I had a 4hr drive at the other end.

Thoroughly interesting chap, always been a massive fan of his comedy but he really is a cracking bloke.

I spent a night recently with a Ukranian Student who was quite affluent. She told me lots of stories, one mentioned spending an evening with Ronnie Wood and going back to his house drunk. He climbed into bed and hinted then asked for her to join him. Apparently she repeatedly said she wanted a Chinese and eventually he gave in and they ordered Chinese.

I asked why she didn't oblige and she likened it to Judi Dench asking me climb into bed.

She also says Ross Kemp is very nice although shorter than you'd think.

I used to be friends with a girl whos mother is on Emmerdale and was in Shameless, she used my phone to text her sometimes getmecoat God I'm boring.

I walked past the actor who played Barry from Eastenders in a pub once. No interaction, though. Should I have screamed and asked him to sign my pants?

Hmm,

Father in law used to play for St Johnstone
Sister in law's best friend is Jordan's hairdresser
I was related to Telly Savalas through a long and tortuous family connection
Once got a lift in Tara Palmer Tomkinson's personal limo whilst sitting beside Cleo Roccas who gave me her a phone number (never did call it, would have been devastated at rejection smile )
Many, many years ago lived in same street and regularly talked to Frankie Vaughn.
Went out with one of the former BBC Scotland Sport girls
Met James Cordon and Sheridan Smith together in Barney's in New York - apologetically asked for photo of them with wife - big fan. They were great!
Sat beside Colin MacRae on flight back from Dublin.
Sat beside John Fashanu on flight back from Nigeria

Met Vicky Butler Henderson at Top Gear Live a few years ago, nobody else seemed to notice her sitting at a magazine stand. Me and Dad chatted cars with her for about 20 minutes, cut short only because we were going into the arena to see Clarkson, Hammond and May's live show. Lovely lady, true petrolhead smile

Christian O'Connell(Absolute Radio breakfast show presenter) bought me a pint at their live show 'Beer and Cake'. Again a very nice chap smile

I met Rolf Harris on a train to Manchester when I was about 11 years old. He was (and still is as far as I know) the nicest 'famous' person I've ever met. He took the time to help me draw some doodles and I've still got the framed pics on my wall.
When Rolf Harris lived in Sydenham he used to get all his photographs developed at the Photography shop my grandfather worked at!

A mate and me once spotted Ted Rogers of 3-2-1 fame in a cake shop in Felixstowe.

...it wasn't actually him though.

I know Ian Poulter's sister in law. He has a lovely car collection as a side effect of his golf habit. And a nice house. F40, Enzo, 288GTO, a Rolls... at least 9 cars, I think he just got a new Ferrari.

She's had to jump start one of his Ferraris, with her Mondeo. I don't know which one, though.

My girlfriend was an actress, 90's & early 00's. Some TV, movie & advert stuff. Knows Warwick Davis very well & co-directed Raph Fiennes in theatre, says he's a tosser.

My ex-girlfriend's best mate lives next door to Daniel Craig's parents & see's him quite a lot when he goes home to visit. Grew up together etc.

Just remembered that a few years back me and my mate got in a hotel lift in Leeds with half the male cast of Holly Oaks and Emmerdale. They were quite chatty but I had no idea who they were, until we got out of the lift to meet my future wife and her friends who recognised them.

My exGF's sister was Kim Marsh's optician.

Paul Scholes once let me out into a queue on the M60. He was driving a nice Audi A8. I was in a MINI Cooper.

Oh, and my StepFIL used to play pool with Lewis Hamilton's dad in Stevenage.

Good god, I'm such a friend of the stars.

My old driving instructor was an ex Celtic player.
I once walked past Noel Edmonds in a mall in Florida.
I nodded to Keith Chegwin at Knockhill.
I said in my best Scottish accent 'Alright Dave' to David Coulthard in Birmingham, he ignored me. He also had white jeans on hehe.
I was almost knocked down by Samantha Mumba
