Hard work that was too, left in Hong Kong, we required to have a three week wait there for trooping flight home,
You bloody used us for tracking with that toy, I always though it sounded like a dragons fart after a curry and guiness!!!

6 years now in the RAF. Currently 90 Signals Unit as a 3rd line radar engineer.
Travel all over the world fixing primary radar.
Still enjoying it for the most part. Plan to get my commission though and had a good crack at it this year. Didn't quite get selected for the course but encouraged to come back.

Strange that 20 odd years later I rescued this sacred kit from the bin as he "Didn't need it". I thought his two kids might like to keep it at least.
I came to the conclusion over the years that all RM are a bit nutty and fighty, especially towards their civvy younger brothers.

It must have been our shabby useless appearance that prevented us from getting filled in, that and using our Sub pay and Nuc pay to get the next round in.
