... this morning I learned from the same wireless that Grant Shapps is the new Seckitery of Defence.

Perhaps I should get some CDs of whales singing or something of the sort. That wireless is bad for my blood pressure.
It's such a pity that Prighozin was accidentally bumped off, isn't it?
I'm certain he would have done a much better job of it than Shan't Crapps. rolleyes

And he would probably have cost us a lot less too.

Perhaps it's time for a pre-emptive strike?
Seriously, God Help Us, this is the munt that rolled out so called Smart motorways, stating they were safe! What the hell does this twhat know about the MOD?

Penny would have been a better appointment - she knows how to carry a sword and is much easier on the eyes.

I’m back from the ticker check.
Ticker is in good shape and he’s happy with that but he wants me into the hospital to pump me with some gear to make my heart run faster for a while so he can test it again as part of my diabetic yearly test(bilan).

Based on a 6 month old previous blood test he says no red meat and no cholesterol enducing foods.

I’ve another blood test due in 4 weeks so I will be able to see how it’s all going then.

Well it's good news about your heart Magoo, but you're running out of things you can eat!!
Hopefully the next blood test will ease what you're allowed to eat!!!

Yes Bobbers add the fact that I’m not having a drink either things are a bit boring to be honest.
Worse things at sea and all that!

I went to decathlon whilst in the city today and bought myself some new lightweight Salomon hiking boots!
I’ve had to leave an arm and a leg there until I grow some new ones!

I know of a nice ditch near Lyneham if that's any good accommodation wise?

Handy for both Swindon and Bath.
If it has running water I’m in.

As a reminder, the TTFNSQ will be posted at the slightly earlier time tomorrow of 7pm but you will still get until 9pm as there are a few more questions than last week and if anyone gets the theme this week, they will be doing well.

It’s just depending on the amount of miles one does really.

I’ve been using Hanwag boots for a few years now as they make an extra wide bunion version and come in very expensive but each pair has lasted at least two years with an average of around 7 miles a day.

If these Salomon boots last as well then €160 is well spent as the Hanwags are much more than that.

Heartening news indeed. thumbup
Well done, Magoo, that'll be what they call a "Stress Echo" cardiogram.
I was initially slated to have one of those, until the senior cardiologist told them that it would be inadvisable in my case, given the state of my ticker, so I was then referred for the angiogram instead.

Given today's news that the next round of strikes in September will involve action by the junior doctors and consultants simultaneously, I am not very optimistic about getting my heart refurb operation anytime soon. Given our current iCabinet's intransigence, it will probably be scheduled sometime after the next general election if I can last out that long.
God bless our gubbermint and expendable pensioners. rolleyes
