My favourites are Egoist and Prada.

But I like Tommy Hilfiger and CK Contradiction too.

Was in Lidl today, and they had testers for their four fragrances, so tested one.

Pleasant enough for £4!
Interesting… I’ll check them out next time I’m in! Which one was your favourite?

I’d imagine it will smell like cat piss after a few hours.

No probs, glad so many here seem to like it!

It'll definitely be a 'go-to' for me come autumn/winter.

Been using Parfums Vintage: "Emerald Isle" for a week or so.

Can recommend for anyone liking Creed: Green Irish Tweed.

To my nose, it's like G.I.T but ends with a strong hint of Creed Himalaya - which for me is a perfect combo.

Today am wearing Parfums Vintage Soir Extrait which is supposed to be inspired by Roja Elysium. Opening very citrusy and sharp. Settles down after some time quite nicely. Never smelt the original so can't comment on how accurate a replica it is. People seem to rave about Elysium on the YouTube fragrance channels though.

Few days ago I tried PV Splendiferous which is inspired by Kilian Angels Share. Quite a 'rich' fragrance, can definitely smell the cinnamon. For me, more an autumn/winter scent.

It's a classic for a reason, really nice and long lasting too.

I've just busted out the summer Tom Ford of choice -Neroli Portofino

The only problem is that it sounds rubbish.

"That smells lovely, what are you wearing"
"Bentley"

laugh Should have given it a decent name.

True! There's an inherent degree of 'naffness' from anything car-maker related usually isn't there? Usually someone who doesn't own a Ferrari wearing a Ferrari shirt, cap, sunglasses, shoes, bag, scarf and wearing Ferrari aftershave (all at the same time)...

Absolutely. Barely anything is more naff or cringe than car manufacturer branded tat. I used to go to Porsche meets and there would be loads of people in Porsche T shirts, jackets, caps, sunglasses, even trainers, and it made my toes curl.

But, as we have found with Bentley, don’t write off the aftershaves as strangely they can be extremely good quality for a bargain price. Fragrance reviewers not only rave about Bentley, but also Mercedes fragrances such as ‘Black Leather’ and also Ferrari’s ‘Essence Oud’. Both around the £30 mark, and both apparently smell more like a £100+ fragrance.

Soir Extrait was one of my samples and I really like it.

I’m also on the Parfums Vintage bandwagon today. It’s a Friday and it’s sunny so I’m wearing PV’s ‘Isla Tropical’. Absolutely love it. So much that I have to actually stop myself wearing it most days, and pick something more suitable for office/meetings etc biggrin

Difficult to tell the difference between Isla Tropical and Virgin Island Water, but IT has a more pronounced zesty lime note to it, which I really appreciate over VIW. I own both but honestly can’t see myself buying VIW again. IT is better in my opinion, and a whopping £108 per bottle less than VIW. No contest.
