Michael McKintyre......cannot for the life of me comprehend why he is (was?) so popular! Not in the slightest bit funny in my opinion. smile
I have the same opinion of Stewart Lee.Hes just not funny.
John Bishop, is there anyone out there who finds him the least bit entertaining?

Amen to that!

But I think thats a great combination. Oh and shes very talented.

Really didnt like her to begin with - but I think her Beyonce routine was the turning point hehe

Saw her live and really enjoyed it.

Dylan Moran - I've never heard anyone say a bad thing against his humour; my favourite comedian by far.

Although technically not a (stand up) comedian, Adam Buxton is another chap I really like - his podcasts are brilliant even when it's with someone I haven't a clue about, the most recent one with Micheala Coel being a brilliant example. Also like Rich Hall's documentaries which is completely different to his stand up character (Otis Lee Crinshaw).

Went to see Bishop live before he was a TV regular. Have to say he was hilarious, the first time. Now I simply cannot bear the sound of his voice. Odd how quickly certain comedians fall out of personal favour.

Going to see Henning Wehn this week.

Rich Hall does do stand-up in his own name. Otis is more of a musical act.

He means Jimeoin, I think.

However, this is supposed to be the "Unfunny Comedians" thread...

Agreed
for me he's bearable for about 20 minutes then I give up....

john Bishop I like but I'm not sure he has longevity or originality any more - his cycling around australia was good and have to admire his charity efforts.

One guy I do find really funny is Kevin Bridges he has me in stiches

I saw him a couple of weeks back. He had a cold. The lights didn't come down for the first half, the audience members he tried to interact with were self satisfied pillocks and his eletric guitar ran out of electricity.

He was still endearingly funny.

I'm seeing Jack Whitehall tonight in the same theatre. Row A seat 12. If he picks me out I'm playing a straight bat to his questions. I'm not the act, he is.

Dylan Moran

One of his off the cuff remarks had me crying

'Do you know two out of three people wonder what the other guy is doing'

Back from watching Whitehall. A one hour 'work in progress'. Very, very good. I really enjoyed it.

One bit of breaking news. He says he's the new voice of ASDA. His routine e on being chosen for that was hilarious.

I was really impressed.

I saw Jo Brand well before she was famous. It was in a tiny room above a pub somewhere in South London.
Upstairs at Banana Cabaret in Balham?

Spent many an enjoyable evening there in the 90s

I've watched Adam Buxton since the Adam & Joe show. Seems like a thoroughly nice chap (despite being a latte drinking, Apple using hipster) and his use of Youtube comments is excellent.

Reeves certainly his comedy style was of a time and it has passed, I get the impression he has an ego you'd do well to fit in an aircraft hangar.

Bob Mortimer I think has suffered a little by association from being part of that double act, but seems quite witty when he's away from Vic. Not hilarious but funny nonetheless.
