Tell us something really trivial about your life (Vol 26)
Discussion
Just doing a bit of late night/early morning nostalgia film watching on the telly box. T2 is on. I've seen it numerous times and acknowledge that it's cheesy as hell, but remembering back to the early nineties when this was released it really was such a futuristic movie in both vision and visual effects. Not nearly as dark as the original, but still a fine event in its own right.
I think tomorrow should entail a visit to the flicks to see Genisys.

The British Grand Prix in 1991 was memorable for a couple of reasons. We were standing in the Vale when Senna, who was leading and heading for a win, ran out of fuel and sputtered past us to stop. You should have heard the cheer. Mansell won and on his victory lap stopped to pick up Senna. It looked very hairy what they were doing.
Following the signs on the way to Silverstone, we did Motorway, slower A roads, much slower B roads and then - are there C roads? - single track roads, where we stopped. After half an hour with the engine off I unclicked my seat belt and settled down for a wait. Immediately there was a knock on the window. It was a young copper. "You're still on a public road, sir. Seat belt on, please."

Had a great few days in the Blue Mountains NSW.
Many, many years ago, in the early eighties, when I had hair, I spent a month living at a friend's house in the Blue Mountains.I think I travelled to see the 'Three Sisters'. Though, due to the fact that my friend's garden was, to all intents and purposes, full of dope plants, I was permanently stoned throughout my stay.
Ah youth. Where did it go?????
