Gutted to hear of maxi passing.

There was a interview video on YouTube of him in his Sierra Cosworth but can't seem to find it now.
A man of great taste

RIP.

65 is no age to pass, but I didn't realise he was 65. I thought he was much younger.

Play Faithless tracks weekly too. There was some good music coming out of Bristol at the time.

Maxi Jazz was well know in Marcos circles too, as he had an LM500 (which he crashed!).
Brings back car owning memories for me of my Mantis - I loved that car. Hope it's still around.

The level of mourning for Terry Hall is quite incredible...
If you have knowledge of his youth, the bracketed comment is VERY inappropriate.

You have the opportunity to remove it, as I have not quoted it.
I didn’t read it like that at all.
Fair enough. Just me, then. Bracketed comment is gone. No harm done.

Happy Yuletide to y'all

I remember seeing maxi jazz being interviewed on one of the minor sky channels years ago , a men and motors type channel , and his passion for cars was obvious.
He’d written a poem about the rs 2000 pinto engine and he recited it on the program with his rs2000 in the background.
Very sad loss .

Not a big name or a celebrity but Stephen Greif

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephen_Greif

He was the original and more menacing 1st actor to play Travis in Blake's 7 and I seem to remember him from an episode of The Professionals.
Blake's 7 was a good memory from my childhood and a fair few of the actors from that show have passed on now

I thought that he was drugged and abducted by a paedophile teacher, who took him abroad for a two weeks and abused him.

Very shocking.

One would have thought a long, happy, healthy life was the
least Terry might have expected for a terrible childhood.

He wrote a song about it "Well Fancy That" in typical Terry Hall understated fashion

I remember that song, I'd never realised it was autobiographical.
