You did mention that the first part was "easy to track down".

So was the second part, as it turns out!

/ I enjoy a challenge, as long as it's easy! rofl

I've lived in both, having grown up in Luton. One of them is the only place I've ever been to that made Luton look sophisticated.

Not much wrong with Luton old boy, it was reputed to have been the home of Spiny Norman at one time:

Lived in an aircraft hangar at the airport, he did. According to Dinsdale, anyhow.

Space and Timepieces!

You have been warmed forewarned!

It was most likely the Monarch /Airline Engineering hanger.
There used to be some pretty strange things going on there back in the day.

I can't say any more than that, I'm sworn to secrecy. whistle

Not to worry Bobbers, Buster the Slopes Hound is on the case accompanied by his handler, Lady Slopes. They will soon have his scent and then all information will be "passed along" so you can get the old fart him yes

Very nice collection, Bobbers.

Probably won't help a lot next Friday, but who knows?

Do you own a compass and a cross-staff?

No no, not them stabby things, although they are useful for stepping distance on a chart, but you will still need a magnetic device to steer a course...

Your/ewer/you're in the right ballpark though!

Have we seen your new timepiece yet, in all its glory?
