It’s sad. Ironically I was in a VW store earlier today and was thinking how awful the collection was. This isn’t a dig at her personally as I’m rather sure she didn’t have any design role anymore. But in the day she certainly turned heads.

TBF I think you can quite happily say you think her designs are awful, whilst still acknowledging her contribution to various scenes

Always reminds me of the interview she did where everyone laughed at her designs. She’s done good for a lass from Tintwistle. My home village. If no one knows it, high peak, the idea anyone from there would gain such a high profile is unheard of

Not a high profile - a global profile. She wasn’t involved in any major major event - and even sub 30’s wear her designs (or name atleast). Remarkable achievement along the lines of Alexander McQueen.

I went to the Conclave for Pope Francis - however decisive Pope Benedict was he’ll be missed by a large swath of the Catholic faith. RIP.
