Things that annoy you beyond reason...(Vol. 7)
Discussion
Oh they haven’t changed then? Stopped watching it a long time ago, got fed up getting lectured about global warming and environmental issues.
Much better programme when it was aimed at farmers, much more interesting.
A lot of time for farmers, they can do everything correct and the weather can blow their earnings for the year.
They have to be land managers, drainage experts, animal managers, mechanics, joiners, building managers.
Who would have their job?

The way Americans call a manual car a 'stick', unless it's a Ferrari, in which case it's "gated".
fking pillocks
There's a difference you fussbudget.fking pillocks
Any manual Ferrari from the past 30 years
has had a 'gate', so to continue to call them
"gated" is as pleonastic as to talk
about your flat screen tv

Charity shops with their attitudes to donations
" we need donations we are low on stock help us, help us"
Sorry can't accept donations today because not enough staff/ not enough space etc etc
JFO
My gripe with charity shops - select an item, pay for item then the assistant asks if I would like to make a donation. Er, I have just bought something so surely that's a donation? No need to point to the tin on the counter thank you very much." we need donations we are low on stock help us, help us"
Sorry can't accept donations today because not enough staff/ not enough space etc etc

Saw a nice tee shirt, in my size. How much ? £40!!!
Because Armari. Erm is it ? Or is it fake? They wouldn't take my offer of £8, as all the other shirts were priced.

Belgian motorway services taking the piss in charging €0.90 for a piss.
Yes this has been rising in cost steadily over the last year or two. It used to be €0.50 everywhere but I can’t see any justification for the rise, especially as some of them are shockingly run down. Taking the piss indeed.generationx said:

Taking the piss indeed.Surprisingly the Belgian motorways (between France - Spa) were in better condition that I'd expected.

Spending £3 on bin liners to find they don't fit the fking bin. Be nice if it was made clear they're for tiny bloody bins that barely anybody probably uses.
They come in different sizes, 25l 50l You can work it out, a litre as a unit of volume is:
1000 cubic centimetres or 1 sq. decimetre or 0.001 cubic metre or 10cm X 10cm.
