You may be right about that...

Some female fragrance reviewers even make videos on how to absolutely drench yourself in it, and refer to men who don't apply enough fragrance as 'Sissysprayers'

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hy_kswybCPE

I think I will politely decline the advice in that video, and continue to apply reasonably small amounts. 2-3 sprays is my usual routine smile

Hope you start to feel better soon.

Anyone tried Acqua di Gio Profundo? I'm running out of Profumo and not sure whether to rebuy or go for this flanker?

In the battle of the Curlies, I prefer Curly Scents to CurlyFragrance.

Bleu de Chanel.

Anyone have this? Never owned it, but feel I should buy some as it is a classic.

Eau de Toilette or Eau de Parfum? Apparently they are a bit different.

If you’re going for Chanel then my recommendations would be Pour Monsiuer EDP or Platinum Egoiste EDT biggrin

Thanks!

I presume you rate those above the Chanel, but have a similar vibe?

Picked up Roja Elysium cologne from Roja in Burlington Arcade whilst in London, received two free 7.5ml atomisers of our choice, went with 1819 for myself and Scandal for my partner.

Bleu de Chanel EdP is a staple of my collection, I really like it - good longevity, smells great and not excessively pricey.

Recently I've had a bit of a splurge.
Chopard - Oud Malaki, a nice Halfeti vibe with huge longevity
Zara - No9, lily and vetiver with begamot to my mind absolutely lovely but gone, done and dusted after a couple of hours
Parfums Vintage - Emperor Extrait, lovely, absolutely no longevity, so unless both me any my missus both go nose blind an absolute waste of £100
- Pineapple Vintage Intense, super pineapply and lasts for hours
- Isla Tropical Privé, coconut, lime and ambre solaire my wife says its vile, I like it
Mont Blanc - Explorer, Aventus in a different bottle, well sort of. Initially it smells sharper but it dries down to a lovely Aventus dupe.

If you choose an Eau de Parfum, you choose a fragrance that is a bit more intense, luxurious and fuller than an Eau de Toilette. ... The main difference is therefore the amount of perfume oil in the formula: an Eau de Toilette contains less perfume oil and more water and alcohol than an Eau de Parfum.

That 'joke' was made on page one of this thread 5 years ago.

And it wasn't really that funny then, either...

So due to the amount of oil, EDP = more longevity?

I was just given a 50th birthday gift of Tom Ford fking Fabulous.

I wouldn’t have considered it normally as was somewhat put off by the name and also the price though I was flattered to receive it.

It’s certainly different with an initial hit of cherry turning into a vanilla leather mix. Closest I can think of is Parfums de Marly Pegasus.

It should be good when autumn kicks in and the weather turns chillier.
