I enrolled in the youth section in '83, I think, after MBH gave a stirring speech at our school on his exploits in the Crimean campaign.
As a teenager and in my early twenties I confess I became rather active in the paramilitary wing.
Around 10 or 11 years ago, I was increasingly finding myself more interested in the policy side of things, and joined the national executive.
