I don't think it's deliberate (unlike the spanner bit) but the hyphon is the handle, the inner part of the 'O' forming the head...

The handle is the dash bbetween the snap and on, the head is the centre on the O

Are you sure its not meant to be an airgun with the P being the handle and the - being the thing you attach whatever tool to?

Or me, and like everyone else I've seen that logo a zillion times! (Some overpaid designer will be distraught)
