They were £400 with wheels included, and I don't wear out my other set.
The roads usually get more potholed during winter, so smaller wheels are advantageous.
We've had some good snow the past couple of years and I live in a small village.
And the main reason, I am driving to Austria for a week in November, so summers might be a little silly, I'm sure the Polizei wouldn't think it too clever of me either.
I'm really not doing a 'holier than yow' by using winters, I thought I'd try it. Most likely if it does snow badly I'll do what I do every year, and go for a slide around the lanes and then sit by the fire and eat lots of cheese.
