Prime weather on demand will be here soon. frown

IN. Time for a (hopefully) good summer! Past two years have been absolutely brilliant.

Ive just ordered some lawn food/moss killer that should be put down just before it rains.

I predict we will have a very long dry summer.

I hereby declare this thread officially open!

I thought you'd jinxed it, rain yesterday and fog this morning. But it's absolutely glorious out, slight chill in the breeze but otherwise perfect! cloud9

Well that the heating turned off for the year now! Hopefully I’ll be in the new place with a decent heating system when the next winter thread is opened.

I'm expecting the BBQ will get its first outing tomorrow. The sad thing is that it will be a solo BBQ frown

To be fair, even without the current restrictions, you would still be going solo hehe

Sorry, couldn't resist

My FiL is in a similar position and really struggling. I can only imagine how tough it is. frownbeer

I’m in the same boat as well, thankfully I have 60 acres of private woodland to play in which is the archery club grounds.

Today was the first time I have actually seen someone I know in 2 weeks! Yes I speak to colleagues every day and the parents a couple of times a week, but it’s not the same. I also think leaving the flat also helped, 25 square meters isn’t a large space when your in it 24/7.

First BBQ of the season today here in southern Hampshire. Spicy chicken thighs and herby sausages today. Steak, marinated pork shoulder steaks and more chicken thighs for tomorrow.

Might well be cooking on it daily if the current forecast holds...

All this nice solar energy (and the effect of shops etc.. Being closed) has meant I'm being paid by my supplier to use electricity between 10am and 4pm today!

Lol....so much for a blue sky day.

Blowing a hoolie and overcast on the Fylde.
Almost like an illuminations weekend!

BBQ planned for later but it's cooler than expected today. Unfortunately we've also failed to re-fill the jacuzzi today frown

Well, Tuesday and Wednesday looks like shorts weather down here on the south coast, so I will be taking the very short walk to the bottom of the garden with masses of equipment to spring clean the boat. I should get through it in a couple of days, and will treat that as my one daily exercise (shorthand for it is gonna cripple me, unlikely to be capable of anything else for days).

Sad really. We should at this very moment be boarding a much bigger ferry to Bilbao for a trip across Spain in the Freelander, but we all know what happened to that idea.

Weak low pressure for Easter weekend I'm afraid, so a bit of mixed bag expected.

I'm redecorating the kitchen and kids' room - so don't care tongue out
