First lots of people started buying bread so the shops ran out. People with time on their hands decided to make their own bread so the shops ran out of flour.

Guttering, the cheapo plastic stuff.

I'm a bit strange that I want all the components in the same colour, from the same range.

Morrisons pesto sauce too, fantastic stuff, maybe an Italian pine nut shortage.

Cards from Moonpig. My mum's birthday tomorrow. Ordered on Monday - it said Wednesday delivery. Still not here (Thursday) and tomorrow is her birthday.
Try thortful.com. They have some great cards, and I've ordered recently with no issues.

It's not so much that you can't buy them. More that it's tricky to arrange a home visit when your wife's been furloughed! hehe

I ordered one last Tuesday or Wednesday for my wife's birthday last Saturday. Still no sign of it, I had to make one myself!

I can't get yeast. I was an early adopter of covid panic buying and even though I still had half a giant bag of flour i grabbed another at Costco as I knew I would use it eventually. Even now, on my hunt for yeast I have seen flour on the shelves a couple of times, but never yeast. One shop had a sign "ask at the front desk" and the guy slipped me 3 sachets like he was sorting me out with some meth or something!

Scumbags on amazon are charging about 8 times normal price for a jar.

Anti-freeze, I changed the heater matrix on the e39 last week (what a bd of a job!!) and needed some to top up, there are four motor factors within a few miles of my house and they're all shut and petrol stations don't seem to stock it anymore. I found a lorry spares place on a local industrial which was open luckily but I had to buy a gallon of the stuff even though I only needed about a litre.

Little Gem lettuce. Plenty of iceberg, plenty of assorted pre-packaged salad leaves.

We are moving back in to our house post refurbishment in 4 weeks, you can buy most things if you really search, paint fairly difficult, plaster really difficult, but decent carpet was truly impossible (took 4 days and 100+ calls to buy)

Flour, and yeast. Which pisses me off, as I've just finished building my garden pizza oven area!

Ford touch up paint. Ford parts and dealers closed, ebay had a handful of official ones (not taking a risk on dodgy ones). Ordered one a month ago and still not dispatched.

Garage floor paint. Need a bigger 5l tin, but these are mainly just click and collect rather than delivery and a number of places didn't have the specific one I was after available to order anyway.

Glad I anticipated demand for hair clippers before the rush though!
Indeed, whats the huge demand on hair clippers, mine stoppped taking a charge and I had to hunt high and low for a replacement

You'll get touch-up from Chipex, they're normally a very good match, although they're expensive

B and Q are opening stores again for stuff.

For me I tried to buy a jigsaw, eventually got 3 at a decent price. Just completed one of them and sold it on eBay for more than I bought it for.

No issue with eggs here in South Staffs. Most indie bakeries might be shut but bread factories are still blazing away. Wholesalers are not about to to start parting out hundredweight bags, are they?
Just outside Ashbourne here, and on our daily walk theres 3 different places all selling half dozens for £1/1.25.

Flour is a no go though.

I bought half a kilo of yeast on eBay for about £12 including delivery. Arrived in about 5 days. Long expiry date and has been making great bread.
