I can't stand sweet soft drinks, there are a couple of non alcoholic beers that I'd rather have over generic British brewed lager.

Rumours had it that a certain 1960s female pop singer had fun with a Bounty bar in the hands of another 1960s pop artist! How didn't it melt, I'd like to know?

Same here. Coke in particular is foul tasting stuff.

Saw a metal band on there, then they mentioned on the captions they are a Christian band, and though I am sure they are good, it just made me grimace, Heavy metal isn’t really me a to be all godly.
Makes no difference to me, if the music is good I’ll listen to it. I was going to suggest Kings X as being an example of a great rock / metal band with Christian tones, but I just learnt via Wikipedia that they distanced themselves from Christianity.

As a metal fan and atheist I’m a bit embarrassed to admit that I like Skillet.

I am also an anime fan!

With the music, I think being told about the Christian bit prejudices you a bit, like being told food is vegetarian as if it’s good the lack of meat doesn’t matter.

Irony is, whilst I was seeing that on the screen at the gym and pulling a face at Christian music, I couldn’t hear it and on at the time was a track called “Jesus built my Hotrod” by a band called Ministry which sounds like it could be Christian.

As I mentioned, wooden toys was a childhood thing from the late seventies/early eighties, as back then I wanted Lego, preferably Technic, or electronic things, anything wooden was not welcome, but can appreciate them now, a wooden toy was second only to a squashy present back then !
