It’s such a personal thing.

Maybe have a look at someone like endclothing who sell a lot of “cool” brands that will appeal to a young audience (I think lol)

https://www.endclothing.com/gb/lifestyle/perfume-f...

Penhaligans do a fragrance selector on their website that is really cool but also very traditional, not sure how “teenage” it is. https://www.penhaligons.com/uk/en/fragrance-profil...

https://www.dsanddurga.com/collections/perfume-all Are my go to at the moment, but are really not everyone’s cup of tea.

https://www.acquadiparma.com/en/gb/sandalo/SANDALO... is my all time perfect smell.

I need to buy cologne for two teenage boys.

One of them is a bit into that sort of thing. Is there a safe “go to” for EDT for the discerning youth?

The other isn’t that image-conscious but would probably use an antiperspirant deodorant.

Can the more fragrant among you please comment? Any of you who think Brut, Hai Karate or Old Spice are the answer, please fight the desire to post your thoughts.

Many thanks.
I’m not sure I understand the issue here.

Do they smell bad due to poor personal hygiene and not wearing clean clothes?

Do they not wear anti-perspirant/deodorant daily?

Are you trying to mask their bad smell with cologne/fragrance, or do they smell ok as they are, and you just want to treat them to some nice cologne?

As for recommendations, I would go with something fairly fresh smelling, but inexpensive as they will likely waste it by spraying so much, lose it out of their school bag/locker, and so on.

CK One is always a popular one for teenagers. Fresh, clean, ideal for school.

Zara sell some pretty good fragrances, the best is ‘Vibrant Leather’ which is a fairly good copy of Creed Aventus but cheap.

Ralph Lauren - Polo Sport is also another classic teen fragrance that is as cheap as chips yet smells fresh and classy, and is good quality.

Your thread title has almost certainly put you on a watch-list.
You think the title is bad, have you read Fallingup's post?
Which of them is Rolf Harris & which is Jimmy Savile? wink

Boss by Hugo boss. The original variety, none of the weird spin offs. Cheap price, nice smell that isn’t over powering and a brand name they will respect. It’s a very decent entry aftershave. If you’re hinting they have general hygiene issues, this may get them on track to take care of themselves.

Shouting no splash no gash or no Armani no poonarni is optional.

I genuinely find Sure the best deodorant. Smells nice enough too for work/school.
No good for sweaty kids, they need antiperspirant.

Those dry stick deoderants are pretty
good in conjunction with regular bathing , neutralises the sweaty pit
odour but can stain your fave black T shirt.

It was Issey Miyake for Men when I was 18, but that was 22 years ago.

They still make it.
I was going to say L'eau d'Issey. Teenage girls loved it in my day.

Imperial leather should do it……or Wrights coal tar soap. You could always catch the Avon lady for them.

Brut and TCP.

It was de rigueur in pubs and discos when I was finding my way socially

When you wore purple loons, a yellow satin jacket and silver platforms?

Er, yes.

Your opinion is not welcome here.

Just trying to help.

Something 'fresh' or 'sweet'. Usually the high street type stuff is popular.

Versace Eros
Paco Rabanne Invictus.
Paco Rabanne 1 Million
JPG Ultra Male
D&G Light Blue
YSL Y (EDP)

Another vote for Wrights coal tar soap. You can also get it in liquid hand wash form.

My 15 year old is very into his fragrances, bordering on obsessive at times! His collection includes:

YSL
Caroline herera 212 vip black
Hugo boss unlimited
Hugo
Mont blanc explorer
Emoprio armani stronger with you

All the above are toward the 'fresher' more youthful end of the spectrum. Hes also got a few other outliers, but I think the above are his favourites. The EA one is probably the most musty, but still fine for a 15 year old I think.
