Corn snakes are brilliant, very easy to keep, this is how they started out

They only need feeding about once every 7 to 10 days on frozen, but thawed out mice.
They're easy to handle, very friendly & great to watch.

They dont need much space either as they like small spaces to hide up.

We have them in a 3ft x 2ft x 1.5ft vivarium. only need a heat mat & a heat lamp. no humidity control and no UV needed, unlike Beardies
I do hope thats your finger.
That's my son's thumb the day we got the first corn snake, the snake was about 6 inches long, It's now about 5 feet long.

I take it you are single then?

blokes are like pets... or so my OH tells me, we get fed, cared for and somewhere to stay when drunk... in return you usually get something loyal that generally smells...

You have a baby, thats a damn sight more smelly than most pets.

Snakes aren't slimy, hairy or smelly.

I would rather wipe a stty arse than have a pet haha
I just get dead creeped out at the thought of small pets, not so much cats and dogs all though I dont like them either but more so frogs, turtles, snaes, mice, gerbils. There too small and wriggly and can get any where. Least I can catch my daughter aha

Fair enough.

Just don't think about all those spiders that are living around your house, hiding amongst the furniture and crawling around whilst you sleep. biggrinbiggrin
