All repaired now but extremely woozy. Struggled to stand on laminate floor.

True enough, poor old thing is so wobbly, fallen over twice now. Just doesn't know what to do with himself.
Vet said it would heal, good job i went for the more expensive option as they found a second wound after shaving him.
Must be awful not knowing why he feels like he does.

Glad all ok, looks fairly similar to our greyhound from what I can see in the pics- as you've found they injure very easily- in our case on both Xmas eve, and new years day last year ...

Hope it he recovers well.. have you put a pic in the 'pics of your dogs' thread?

My Boxer needed 4 stitches because of a dog bite, very similar to the OP's dog, except my bill was £280!! Usual Aberdeen mark-up i guess frown

Pretty much back to normal tonight. Think he has itchy stitches though as keeps trying to rub them on the settee.
