I understand the rules, that if you think about "The Game", you lose. You can never win. The longer you avoid thinking about "The Game", the better you are.

But why on earth would you play such a stupid game?

I do not see the attraction to it whatsoever and some people can get quite worked up about losing. But how on earth can you lose if there is no winner? As far as i think, if you do not win, you lose.

I really don't understand the concept....
You are Joshua, the computer program featured in the hit movie 'Wargames', coming to a theatre near you this fall.

I am Dr Falken AICMFP. Thug Aim FTW.

In a quiet place like in a library, on a quiet coach on the train, in a lecture theatre, or somewhere else where elderly, orderly quiet people should be. (you need a minimum of 2 players, but 3-5 is best) positioned in different places. You say "bogies!" starting off quietly, taking it in turns untill you reach screaming point, or whoever is the last one remaining.
Heard this played around the entire camping field at Santa Pod a few years back, it was funny for the first few hours, and even when it started back up again about 4am, although there were as many shouts at that time of "shut the fk up" as there were for bogies smile

Can we have that translated into English for those of us who don't live on the internet?

There is a cult classic film, Wargames.

A computer plays out nuclear war scenarios, it compares modern warfare to noughts and crosses and declares the potential of nuclear war as useless as no one can win.

The film is summarized by the computer making a speech which is more or less exactly the same as your original post.

It's a social experiment to prove how easily lead and feeble minded huge swathes of the population are.

As you can see from the above.
