It's not a good thing, be confident without being arrogant.

And now a word for not putting yourself down.

On the Piers Morgan programme Rod Stewart said his best chat up line was, "Hello, darlin', wotcha got in yer basket?"

Note he's not taking himself too seriously either.

I would never wish anything unpleasant to happen to you Dicky, but if it does its because you watched that odious slimy turdball Piers "the " Morgan. Shame on you.

Im an arrogant prick, overly confident, cheeky, rude, egotistical and I do ok!

Used to be the shy retiring putting myself down type of guy until something happened and this is the result.

I like it.

Really though, found some good mates who slapped some sense into me and discovered vodka. Lots of vodka.

Putting yourself down isnt such a good idea i would have said, but laughing at your failings isnt such a bad thing, mainly because you dont come across as a"look at me,I SAID, LOOK AT ME bh" type. I laugh at my failings all the time, and whilst like CW i am not beating them off with a stty stick, i pulled mrs slopes without really trying, and seem to get the milf types to flirt with me regularly. Nowt happens obviously, but flirt they do. I think most of them have myopia because i look like a taiwanese knock off version of penfold, but heyho i'm not complaining

So the "I drive a Caterham..." gag doesn't work then? wink
It certainly didn't work on the (gorgeous) receptionist at Tyres Northampton when I went to book a camber check for tomorrow.

"And what car is it?"

"A Caterham Seven,"

"A what?"
